Dress Code Policy (SDPBC Policy 5.182) Guidelines

We want to ensure a positive and focused learning environment for all students. To achieve this, we kindly request your cooperation in adhering to our dress code policy, which is designed to promote a respectful and distraction-free atmosphere. Please take note of the following guidelines:

Northboro Uniform Requirements:

1. Modesty: Students are required to dress modestly, covering cleavage and midriffs, with no visible undergarments.
2. Top/Dresses: Polo style, crew neck, blouse or shirts in any solid color without a logo, or Northboro shirts.
3. Bottoms: Shorts/capris, skorts, skirts or slacks (Navy/Khaki/Black). Shorts MUST be fingertip length.
4. Shoes: All shoes must be closed at the toe and heel!  Sneakers and socks are mandatory on PE days.
5. Holes in Pants: Holes in pants are allowed only at or below the knee.
6. Waist Level: Pants, shorts, and skirts must be worn at the waist.
7. Head Coverings: Heads must be uncovered, except for health or religious reasons.

Fridays: Students can opt to wear a school spirit shirt and jeans on Fridays ONLY.

Students are expected to maintain personal cleanliness, grooming, and neatness of dress that does not disrupt the classroom environment. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in helping us create a conducive learning environment for all students.
